Reeded brown cabinets add an on trend texture into this kitchen—opting to go dark brown instead of light was an intentional decision here on designer Kelly Neely’s part. “We wanted to create a warm look in the kitchen and the client really wanted to use black soapstone,” says the founder of Kelly Neely Interiors. “To avoid too harsh of a contrast between the soapstone and cabinetry, we selected a dark stain to marry the two finishes together.”
